Do you see me now?

This Orchid Doesn’t Apologize — And Neither Should You

Some orchids aren’t graceful. Some are strange, wild, and unforgettable.

Do You See Me Now I is a visual protest. A Cymbidium orchid that refuses to blend in, just like the woman in the portrait. This painting is for those learning to be fully themselves: unmasked, strange, intense, and beautiful.

In nature, difference is a survival strategy. In this work, it’s a form of self-expression.

Is this your story too?

If you’ve ever been told you’re too muchtoo sensitive, or too different. This painting was made with you in mind.

Do You See Me Now I speaks to those of us who’ve learned to adapt in order to belong. Who’ve hidden parts of ourselves to fit in, or masked our intensity to feel safe. It’s a visual expression of that hidden rebellion that slowly build up, leading to the moment when you decide to stop blending in and finally let yourself be seen.

This work belongs with someone who understands that identity isn’t a fixed thing, it’s layered and complex. Someone who sees strength in nuance, power in softness, and beauty in boldness.

If that’s you, you’re invited to see the piece up close, and if it speaks to you, to make it yours.
